A future with Purpose

PUPA was founded from a simple yet profound concern shared by many families of neurodivergent young adults:

What kind of future awaits our children when we are no longer there to guide them?

For parents of individuals with autism and other neurodivergent conditions, this question goes beyond survival. It speaks to independence, dignity, and purpose. Whether their children can grow into adults who live fulfilling lives, develop their strengths, and contribute meaningfully to the communities around them.

PUPA began as a response to these concerns and evolved through a journey of discovery. In a landscape where structured resources, proven curricula, and inclusive pathways were limited, PUPA chose a different approach by designing programs that build habits, life skills, and work readiness in ways that respect each individual’s abilities, pace, and personal standard of success.

A space to grow

A Place to belong

Every story here is one of courage and capability. What started as a small initiative has grown into a comprehensive center for neuro-affirming support. We exist to unlock the potential within every individual, proving that with the right support, everyone can play a meaningful role in our society.

  • The name PUPA, derived from Latin, means cocoon. It reflects our belief that meaningful growth happens within a safe, structured, and nurturing environment, one that protects, strengthens, and prepares individuals without rushing or forcing transformation. At PUPA, each individual is supported to grow in their own time and in their own way, until they are ready to step forward.

  • PUPA’s vision is to help shape a future where neurodivergent individuals are recognized for their potential, not defined by limitations. Building a future where every individual has access to a supportive community, purposeful opportunities, and clear pathways to independence, so they do not merely adapt or survive, but thrive and contribute meaningfully to society.

  • PUPA Center is home to a vibrant, diverse group of thinkers and doers. We work with individuals and families looking for a neuro-affirming environment where differences are celebrated. Here, students don’t just learn skills; they find a sense of belonging among peers and mentors who understand that every mind works differently.
