To keep our website safe and fair for everyone, you agree not to:

  • use the website in any way that breaks the law or these Terms;
  • copy, republish, sell, rent, or license our content as your own, or for commercial purposes, without our written permission;

5. Our Content and Intellectual Property

Unless we say otherwise, PUPA Center owns, or is licensed to use, all material on this website — including text, articles, photographs, illustrations, videos, and the PUPA name, logo, and butterfly mark. This material is protected by copyright and other laws.

You may use our content as described in Section 3. Any other use — including reproduction, distribution, or adaptation for public or commercial purposes — needs our written permission first. Our name, logo, and brand marks may not be used without our permission.

6. Photos and Stories of Our Community

Some pages share photographs and stories of PUPA participants, families, staff, and volunteers. These are shared with the permission of the people involved, and we treat their dignity and privacy with great care.

Please respect this: you may not download, copy, edit, or reuse images or stories of our community members to identify them, or in any way that could embarrass, exploit, or harm them. If you would like to use any of these materials — for example, for media or research — please contact us first.

7. Information on Our Website Is General

Our website, including any articles, guides, and resources for parents, is provided for general information and to share our work. It is not professional, medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your situation.

Every neurodivergent person is different. Please do not rely on our website in place of professional guidance, and always consult a suitable professional about decisions that affect you or someone in your care.

8. Donations

You can support PUPA through bank transfer, QRIS, or corporate partnership, as described on our donation page. When you donate:

  • donations are voluntary gifts that support our programs, and are generally non-refundable;
  • we confirm and record donations for accounting purposes and as required by law;
  • if you think a donation was made in error, please contact us and we will do our best to help.

How we handle the personal data connected to a donation is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Our website links to services we use, such as WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, and Google Maps, as well as any donation tools we rely on. These services are run by other organizations and have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices, and a link from our website does not mean we endorse them.

10. Contacting Us Through the Website

When you message us — for example, through WhatsApp, Telegram, or an enquiry link — please communicate respectfully and honestly, and do not share other people’s private information without their permission. Our messaging channels are not monitored around the clock and should not be used for emergencies. How we handle the information you send us is explained in our Privacy Policy.

11. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data when you use our website and contact us. By using our website, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

12. Accessibility

13. Availability of the Website

We work to keep our website available, accurate, and up to date, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, update, pause, or remove parts of the website at any time. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any loss that results from the website being unavailable, or from information on it being out of date.

14. No Warranties and Limitation of Liability

Our website is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by Indonesian law, PUPA Center gives no warranties about the website and is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or anything on it. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be excluded under Indonesian law.

15. Content You Send Us

If you send us content — such as a message, testimonial, photo, or application — you confirm that you have the right to share it, and you give PUPA permission to use it for the purpose you sent it for (for example, to respond to you, or to consider your application). Please do not send us confidential information belonging to other people without their permission.

16. Children and Guardians

PUPA supports young adults, and some of our visitors are minors or rely on a guardian. If you are under 18, or have a guardian, please read and use our website together with your parent or guardian, and your parent or guardian should review and agree to these Terms on your behalf. We handle personal data relating to minors, and to people who rely on a guardian, with particular care, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date. If you continue to use our website after a change, you agree to the updated Terms.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, including Indonesia’s Electronic Information and Transactions Law (Undang-Undang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik / UU ITE) and its amendments.
