When Castalia Raissa Amadin (Raissa) first joined PUPA Center, she began her journey in our Transition Class. Even then, it was clear that she possessed a remarkable artistic talent, especially in pottery. Since her teenage years, Raissa has dedicated herself to learning and practicing pottery, transforming her creativity into beautiful handmade pieces. Over time, she has proudly showcased and sold her pottery at various community bazaars, sharing her passion with others.

Pottery is only one of the many ways Raissa expresses herself. She also enjoys drawing, writing, singing, and baking, filling her days with creativity and meaningful activities. Her curiosity and love for learning have always been among her greatest strengths.

Raissa is known for her warm personality and genuine interest in meeting new people. Whenever she introduces herself, she often asks thoughtful questions such as, “How are you?” or “What is your favorite pet?” Her love for animals, especially cats and dogs, is a big part of who she is, and she happily cares for both at home.

Like many individuals on their own unique journey, Raissa has also faced challenges. When she first joined PUPA Center, adapting to different personalities and ways of thinking was not easy for her. Raissa naturally values structure, routines, and rules. She follows the schedules created both at home and at PUPA Center with great commitment and responsibility. Because of this, unexpected changes in plans or situations could feel overwhelming and emotionally challenging.

Throughout her time at PUPA Center, Raissa has gradually learned that life does not always go exactly as planned. With consistent guidance, encouragement, and many small steps forward, she has developed greater flexibility in accepting changes in schedules, routines, and unexpected situations. This growth has also helped her better understand and adapt to the people around her.

The journey has not always been easy. There were moments when frustration and sadness brought her to tears. However, through patience, perseverance, and continuous practice, Raissa has learned healthier ways to regulate her emotions and approach challenges with a more flexible mindset. Every small achievement has become an important milestone in her personal growth.

Today, pottery remains an important part of Raissa’s life. For the past two years, she has also been sharing her creative journey through her own YouTube channel, where she documents her daily experiences and artistic process in pottery. Through these videos, she continues to inspire others while expressing her creativity with confidence.

Recently, Raissa has discovered another passion—gardening. Her interest began during her internship in the production department of a plant nursery, where she became fascinated by the process of nurturing plants from tiny seedlings into healthy, thriving trees. Watching something she has planted continue to grow brings her immense joy and a deep sense of accomplishment. Her natural curiosity motivates her to keep learning about plants and their development.

Raissa’s journey reminds us that growth is not measured by how quickly we change, but by our willingness to keep moving forward. With her strong sense of responsibility, dedication to her routines, and growing confidence in embracing new experiences, Raissa continues to build a meaningful and fulfilling future—one small step at a time.
